The 8th Kenya International Industrial Expo Has Officially Opened in Nairobi in 2025 !

On September 4 local time,The 8th Kenya International Industrial Expo 2025 officially opened at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. The three-day event will run through September 6.

The exhibition attracted more than 130 companies from China’s Shandong, Jiangxi, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Guangdong provinces. At the same time, over 60 companies from Kenya and neighboring East African countries such as Uganda and Tanzania gathered in Nairobi, significantly boosting the event’s international participation.

The event received strong support from the Kenya Investment Authority and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Attendees included Zhou Zhencheng, Minister-Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Kenya; Xiao Lu, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce; Shi Yonghong, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products; Piusdian Z. Rotich, Managing Director of the Kenya Investment Authority; KK Mutai, CEO of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Renato D’Souza, Deputy Managing Director of Standard Bank Kenya; Gao Wei, Chairman of Afripeak Expo (Kenya) Co., Ltd., and other distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony and performed the ribbon-cutting.

Concurrently with the exhibition, the 2025 Kenya (East Africa) Economic and Trade Promotion Exchange was held, providing on-site exhibitors and participating domestic enterprises with an excellent opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the East African market and establish business connections.

Kenya International Industrial Expo was first held in 2018 and has successfully taken place eight times to date. After years of careful cultivation, the exhibition has become an important channel and platform for Chinese enterprises to expand into the Kenyan and East African markets and to promote two-way investment and trade exchanges between China and Africa.

The exhibition features a rich and diverse range of exhibits spanning multiple industries, including machinery and equipment, CNC machine tools, vehicles and parts, building materials, hardware and tools, photovoltaic and new energy, chemicals, printing and packaging, and light industrial and daily consumer goods.
